Untangling the Look of Tangled

Join the creators from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ latest animated achievement, “Tangled.” Hear first hand from the Art Director, Visual Development artists and Technical Supervisors about how they went about creating an exciting new three-dimensional approach building upon the celebrated Disney style.

In the past I wrote about Annie Awards and how unfair I think they’re towards Disney (and other Animation companies that isn’t Dreamworks).

I got some new questions about it in my message box asking details on “What hell is going on with the Annie Awards”. Recently one of my favorite animation movie critics made a video about it.

I just finish watching this documentary about Disney Animation around 1984-1994. It’s actually a really powerful film and give you an insight on some darker aspects during that time with the people in charge of Disney and Disney Animation. I actually cry at the part where they talked about the deaths of Howard Ashman and Frank Wells.
I been waiting to see documentary for almost a year; it just been released like a week ago. So here are places you can order and digital download or rent.

(I trying to post once in a while post some things that I think all Disney Fans should check out, even if it’s not Tangled related. Hopefully, people don’t get upset with me for going off topic ever once in a while)
